Forests Of Caldavar is a special map for 5 vs 5 battles. In Forests Of Caldavar there are many places to farm on neutral creeps, hide between trees and stores to buy supplies without the need of returning to base. Forests Of Caldavar has 3 main lines to which heroes go to gain expirience and gold.

Usually two heroes go on the top and bottom lane and 1 hero goes to the middle lane because if there are two heroes on the lane the expirience gained whenn killing a creep will be twice less. In Forests Of Caldavar every 2 minutes a rune (Double Damage, Haste, Invisibility, Regeneration or Illusion) spawns on the river. The strongest neutral creep – Kongor in Forests Of Caldavar is max level (25) and after he is killed he drops a token of life. Forests Of Caldavar is the most played map in HoN. Forests Of Caldavar has 2 modes – Normal (for killing an enemy hero gain normal amount of money, and in case of death lose some amount of money) and Casual (for killing an enemy hero gain double amount of coins and in case of death lose 0 coins).
